Howdy! My name is Damon Lundy and I am a Visual Arts educator at High School of Art and Design.

I was born and raised in NYC and attended public school all my life. I loved the friends I made within the NYC school system and I loved teaching and creating art. it just made sense to me to become a teacher of the Arts.

I live with my cat Winter in Manhattan and enjoy reading and creating in my free time!

I work with a variety of mediums but mainly have a focus in ceramics. I am skilled in glaze and clay body formulation as well the science behind it. My areas of expertise also include plaster mold making, hand building, as well as wheel throwing.
